What the RV wants the RV gets. If it was a motorcycle we call it "safety chrome"!

Just finished installing the Brake Buddy in our 2010 Chevy HHR, including all of the wiring, etc. We're now set up to tow. Chuck

After not liking the detail of the maps and Trip Ticks we got from AAA on our last trip, a new Rand McNally 2017 Large Scale Road Atlas which shows rest stop locations and 350 city and National Park maps. Also a pair of replacement slider clips for the Dometic awning after one of the springs in one of the catches took off for points unknown. Both from Amazon.

You can do all of this and allot more with a Garmin you know. Maps are basically obsolete.

Trying to buy some Formular 150 1.5" foam board to reinsulate it with, or even Dow Blue board, but apparently, no one within 100 miles (Well, at least note in Home Depot or Lowes), carries it anymore. They have it in 2", and 1" and smaller, but no 1.5", which is kind of needed for insulating between 2 by lumber.

Lowes and Home Depot around here seem to carry .75 inch foam board, which means you could sandwich two together for your needed 1.5 inches.

I love my GPS, but would not drive anywhere I was unfamiliar with, without a map. Last trip out west we went from Kanab to the north rim of the grand canyon. When we started back to Kanab, the GPS tried to send us down a dirt service road that was little more than a trail.

I carry a map too but don't rely on it to find National Parks, Campgrounds, etc. I typically use the Points of Interest app to find just about anything. A map won't tell you where the nearest campground is or a Walmart, etc. With a good Garmin (no other brand) I almost never pull out a map. Maps are only good for giving you a general idea where you are at but don't help much to find a specific spot like a Garmin.

An adjustable step for outside. That first 14" step up/down was starting to get to me.
