Can you provide instances where this has happened. We have not found any markets where local channels are not broadcast over the air. Our batwing antenna is still picking up local stations where ever we travel unless none at all are available. Chuck

Same here. My RV is wired for digital broadcasts. I haven't had any problems.

Sure, I live in San Diego. I recently did an on air digital search and only lined up 3 digital stations. Only CBS and ABC were on air. We used to have about a dozen on air stations. The missing stations are still all on cable/satellite and then some.

A collapsible storage ottoman from Wal-Mart. Now DH can put his feet up when we are parked, which makes him very happy. The added storage it provides makes me very happy. Then, when we are ready to leave, the bottom section folds flat and fits into the lid. Easy to store, takes up very little space, which makes both of us very happy. Cost less than $20.

I full time and have had DirecTV since my s&b days starting in 1995. It was only natural I continued with DirecTV and a tripod slimline dish in my RV (I am addicted to HD you know).

The crank up broadcast antenna on my fifth wheel was absolutely never used and leaked water through it a time or two so it was just a PITA. When I had my roof replaced six months ago I trashed the crank up antenna in favor of Winegard RoadStar RS-3000 RV TV Antenna. I felt there should be an antenna up there and this was the cheapest one I could find that wouldn't leak and the crank up is in the trash. But a future owner will have a broadcast antenna if needed.

Was the install difficult - running the brake lines?

Sold both our open trailer for hauling the canoes and harleys and our small enclosed cargo trailer. Just ordered a new enclosed trailer for towing the Harleys with racks on top for the canoes and kayaks. Getting it built to specs. Should be here in about 4 weeks.
