Has any one traveled with a Breville oven sitting on the counter, and did it move while traveling?

Whether Breville oven or Emerson ice maker, unless you have some way of firmly attaching it, I would not travel with them on the countertop. If they slide off they are going to make a BIG mess and possibly break tiles. I would place them on the floor, they could be plugged in, but I would NOT travel with then up unless you had them securely anchored. OTH we travel with a slow cooker running, but placed in the sink, that way it can not spill or if it did it would be contained. The only disadvantage we have found in doing this is we are ravenous when we stop for the night.

X 2 on not leaving them on a counter.
A big bump, sharp turn, or panic stop and you'll have at the very least, a broken appliance.

I don't think you could hold water well enough in the Emerson Ice Maker. It would be splashing out of the upper freeze try as you drive while its trying to make ice.

I would agree - except I think there is only one company that makes these ice makers and everyone hangs their badge on them, Emerson, Dometic, Igloo.....mine is Magic Chef. There isn't a nickels worth of difference between any of them, but I have no idea who in China actually makes them.

I got the Igloo love it but I don't leave it on counter. Do you have the genie on to make ice going down the Hwy?
