Have a great time. I took my 1960 Chevrolet 1 ton panel truck on a three month camping trip to Alaska in 1985 and had a ball. I carried two spare tires but didn't need them but I did come across a motor home that blew two tires at once. Just make sure you take some spare parts, like starter motor, fuel filter etc. A couple lost the alternator on their vehicle in a small town and the part had to be flown in, cost, $600.00.
Have fun, I wish I could go too.
