Same here. I made one attempt to install but it was obvious that I would need to trim the opening. I didn't have the time or tools to do it then, so it is back on my project list.

Do you need a second gasket? New a/c's normally ship with one attached.

Greetings.

We noticed that the previous owner of our 2004 Windsport had installed an overhead LED fixture above the recliner - great white light output. Sooo, we figured: why not replace all of the overheads - and voilà!

These are Gold Stars Natural Whites - very easy to put up, and they sure do look good!

I'm going to cheat a little bit.......the last TWO things I bought.
1. Tire Minder Smart TPMS system.
2. LevelMate Pro

I have not installed either system yet as the winter weather has got me in a holding pattern right now. Both systems will "report" their info to my Android phone, via apps that you download onto the phone, cutting down on the number of monitors on the dash/windshield of the truck.

I did not see a Gasket in the box, if it comes with one and I find it when I finish unpacking the A/C when it is on the roof, I will replace the gasket on the rear A/C so it will not be a loss. I just need April to start the install, it is to cold in the barn right now, 17 degrees F.

Delivered last night, our new Garia 2+2 VIA street legal low speed vehicle. Currently having a special build Hydralift installed on our coach by NIRVC so we can tote the Garia along with us and still tow the Jeep on our travels. Should be great fun.

If it's a Dometic a/c, it will be already attached to the base via 2 sided tape. I understand about 17* as we were at 12* earlier this morning with snow just starting. I have a disc brake mod and a new set of springs for our 5er just waiting for warmer weather .... brrrrrr

A suggestion - leave the new a/c on the shipping skid and possibly even in the box if you intend on skidding it up a ladder to the roof. It's extremely awkward to handle otherwise. I used the local high school football coach/former college player that lives next door to help me get our second a/c on the roof

Boy that looks nice! My (single-axle) DP has too much weight on the rear wheels to be able to accommodate one of those on a lift, but it sure looks like a handy alternative to towing my Jeep... Don't think I could do the whole trailer thing though--too much overhead.

Can you be more specific? Model or size.

Starter motor for chassis (Dec)

Last week bought a new Trimark door lock. The old original one broke and we couldn't get out of the MH. I finally climbed out a window, and used a screwdriver to bust the handle off so I could release the latch with a pair of pliers.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

Bought a Fan-Tastic 7350 vent with remote to replace the 14 x 14 vent/fan over the kitchen area that had turned into noise maker. We all ready have a similar but older automatic Fan-Tasitic fan in the living area of the 5th that we enjoy.
