Gathering more 'things', hoping the weather gets warmer soon. It's 18*F as I type this:

- An SA320CN First Alert Dual Sensor smoke and fire alarm
- 4 Russell Speed Bleeders for my disc brake conversion calipers
- Four 1/4"NPT brass pipe plugs for the unused bleeder ports on the new disc brake calipers
- 20 ARP hardened washers for the new springs replacement U bolts (need 16 washers and will have 4 spares)
- A coiled breakaway switch pull wire
- A replacement Teflon lube plate for the one I jammed/wrinkled last fall
- A double handful of 1/2 black pipe fittings to reroute the gas line so I can install the three MORryde X factor cross members.

Needless to say, I have a work bench full of projects for our 5er

A 1200 watt pure sine wave inverter to run the fridge while we're going down the road or parked and not hooked up. I can also use it for other things if needed. It's an Aims with a built in transfer switch so I can set it and forget it. I also installed a 12volt outlet on the outside of the coach. It never had one. Chuck

A pair of Crossfire tire pressure equalizing systems for the rear dual wheels.

Crossfire - Dual Dynamics

I initially had them installed by a service shop. I didn't have tools to handle the high torque required for the lug nuts which is where the mounting bracket for the unit is installed on my style wheels. Unfortunately the mechanic only installed one of them, saying the other was faulty and kept leaking. He said he tried it on both wheels to make sure the problem was the Crossfire, not the tire valves.

I called the manufacturer, Dual Dynamics, and they gave me an RMA # to return the unit. However, they called me after receiving it and said it tested okay. I had them return it and tried installing it myself. (The mechanic had at least installed the mounting brackets on both wheels, so I only had to bolt the unit to that and install the lines on the tire valves.)

This time it worked fine. It can be a little tricky to get the lines on the valves exactly straight so they don't either leak or, as happened to me on the first try, block air from coming in or going out. I imagine the mechanic had such trouble and just decided it didn't work.

Yep. I had the same problem. You just have to have faith. Keep turning the wrench. Air starts escaping after you put it on about two turns and it seems like forever to turn it far enough to stop the air. It took almost a minute for me because I could only turn the wrench about 1/8 turn per try due to the screwy angle. I just kept turning until the air stopped then 1/2 turn more. No problems in over 1200 miles.

Best thing that ever happened to dual wheels.

Just finished installing a remote lp quick connect at the rear of our 2017 KZ-Venom. I hooked the 12ft line with the quick connect to my grill. We can use the grill outside on the table or take it around to the back patio. I teed off the black iron pipe and ran new pipe to the back where we put our outside kitchen. Gonna try it out next weekend when we go to Tennessee.

That gas extension would be on my to-do list! RV'ing is new to us and our 5th is new so it came with no accessories. We use to cruise the Pacific so we have some crossover stuff but for now it seems that all we do is buy stuff for it.
Universal hitch for bike rack
Made a new aluminum double trike rack
All new bedding
Queen topper
Linens
2 - 15' dump hoses
Dual water filter, drinking water hose and reg.
... the list goes on and on.
But on the fun side (for me) a new 12' surf casting rod and reel!!!
