Mmm... I was wrong... it wasn't a new fuel pump or even a fuel pressure guage.... it was a $300 tow trip for a 5 mile ride to the fix it folks. Gee, I really need to look into a rider for the insurance or a club membership if it is that expensive to tow a class c tiny motorhome.

We just used our Good Sam road side assistance yesterday. After checking the tire pressure the right outside duals valve stuck open. I called GS and got quoted $165 labor??? Why would it cost so much for a bad valve core I asked. On hold for a little bit and the answer was to dismount the tire but we could directly pay the service. Long story-short, he did have to remove the rim from the coach but not dismount the tire. No charge.

Check Progressive too. I think we may also be covered for a tow with them.

Water Pressure Regulator

I had been going through those $9 Camco fixed water pressure regulators about every 6 months. One started chattering, and the hose wiggled when the water was flowing. This last one lasted about a week before the pressure flow dropped to 20 psi.

So...I ordered one of these from Amazon.com. I hope it works as advertised.

So If I join good Sam's... is there another plan I need to buy to get roadside or does the origional cost to join cover that as well?

Good Sam emergency road service is a separate program. Once you join good Sam you will start receiving literature about their other programs. I have it! I travel solo a lot, I haven't had to use it, but it gives me peace of Monday to have it...

New Stuff

I received the remote control module to do the "Lazy Man's Power Awning Mod." (See lazy man's power awning mod . - Forest River Forums) and a couple DPDT relays to make it work with the panel manual switch. Got it all installed and works GREAT!

Also ordered the Winegard RFL 342 SensarPro wall plate (original wall plate defective, excessive signal loss, so I thought I'd upgrade) and a low loss three-way splitter to replace the cheap one used in the trailer.

Tomorrow, I've got to get a slow leak in one of the trailer tires fixed because WE'RE GOING CAMPING THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!
