It's nice to see that in 60 days I have been able to positively impact the lexicon with the SWMBO tag. I thought it might be a little early to introduce the MNEF identifier,
Too late to edit that one, should have read.... I thought it might be a little early to introduce the MNEW identifier,

I saw this on another thread and thought it was a good idea especially when things get a little dicey on crowded roads. Letting other drivers know your intentions better. An easier to see turn signal light. I only put one on the passenger side as I can see my side just fine.

Personally I don't rely on anything for sure except the road signs.
However, keeping that in mind, I use 3 devices when travelling (Mark driving and me as the navigator). Basically I use the truck app. In a pinch when I'm looking for a town with a post office, I'll use my phone to find "where is the nearest post office". Then, I also use my laptop computer. It's easier to "flip through the page" by zooming in an out of where I am so I can see the possible route changes.
The program I use is Microsoft Streets & Trips. They don't support the program anymore, but I have Windows 10 and it runs like a charm. It's saved my (or should I say HIS) behind more than a few times.
I see it on eBay, but I can't imagine WHY they are selling it so expensive. I got mine for around $70 back in 2013

GPS units are good and some very good but always nice to have a map as a backup. In fact every time we enter a "new" state we stop at the first information center for a state map.

I've done this for years in a car. Love paper maps. Private pilot for years and regardless of all the electronics in my plane I trust my paper charts and maps the most whether VFR or IFR.

My Dad was a Sales Manager with Gulf Oil for 33 years and we always had Gulf Oil logo maps in the glove compartment. On long trips he would hand me a map and let me navigate. He knew where to go, the map was just to focus my attention on something besides asking non stop questions.
By age 6 I could properly fold the map and by 8 I could tell him which town was next. I think that's how I got interested in RVing. It's sure the best way to see what's around the next curve or over the next hill.

Four Lifeline Batteries, Cable Ends, Cable cutter, Two Buss Bars, 300 Amp T-Type Fuse & Holder, Hydraulic Cable Crimpers, Stereo Radio for the Dash, LED running Lights and Five Amber Cab Lights. When I get the Batteries installed, I will measure up for the battery cables and purchase the cable from West Marine. Cheapest I can find so far.

I used to carry 2 potted geraniums to decorate our sites. Should've known better as I could not keep the deer away from them at my S&B. About 6 years ago, I started "planting" silk geraniums at home. The trick is to cut them apart from their bush state & plant them as you would real ones. When the flowers fade from sun exposure, the leaves are usually still good - keep the leaf stems to use over & over. No more deer problems. Now I have 2 silks I take in the coach. HONEST, if done right (real dirt/peat moss in the pots, mixing full blooms with budding blooms...etc.), you cannot tell the difference. I'll get 2-3 seasons out of them. They have been "nibbled" on, but they are quickly spit out.
