On the way to our first ever snow bird trip to the gulf coast of Florida, we had a Fantastic Vent fan installed to replace our 2003 model basic powered ceiling bathroom fan. In a word, it is...."fantastic !!! Parked in the shade, we did not need air conditioning, and the fan closed itself when we received a few rain sprinkles one day.

I got a pretty nifty little gadget a week ago. It's a flow meter for a hose. You attach it at either end of the hose and as the water flows through it, it shows on a digital read out how many gallons you've pumped through the hose.

I figure it will come in handy when I sanitize the water tank and I want an accurate measure of water to get a ppm level of 200 with the quat sanitizer I use. Shorter dwell time than bleach, non caustic and doesn't require rinsing afterwards. I think it'll also come in handy when we do our trip to Sturgis in August. We won't need shower water for the trip, maybe 15 gallons or so, just enough for some toilet flushes. Big difference in the weight we'll be hauling that way.

Bought a six man tent.

I figure when I reach the end of my rope with my four kiddo's -- I'm putting them all in the tent!! I figure I won't be able to hear them gripe and complain from the tent

Of course the more I think about it -- DW might just put my rear in there when I'm snoring. I may have committed a gross error in judgement

:face palm:

Oh well, at least I sprung for the more expensive cots!!

Telescoping ladder. We do not use the loft or the top garage bunk much other than storing soft items, so carrying those ladders is a pain. Can store this almost anywhere. 8 1/2 feet is plenty for us and had it shipped to our local sears no charge. Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more
