Eternabond sealant for the roof seams, battery isolator relay, and a Shurflo pump. Getting ready for vacation.

3M 8113 Panel Bonding Adhesive to re-attach basement door skin to frame.
Plus the "gun" to use it. Luckily, I can take the gun back for a refund.

Removed the glass panels on the cabinets left and right of the front tv because when closed it got so hot from the directv receiver shut down due to over heating. Replaced the glass with brass plated aluminum perforated panels to let air flow in and out of the cabinets.

Rand McNally trip planner. Just bought one today. I really think it is going to come in handy on our month long trip. Below is a link to a brief video.

Killawatt monitor. It also reads voltage, etc. Prompted to buy it because of a delay last weekend in electricity reaching our camper. Could have been because our EMS didn't like what it was seeing at the post.

A piece of plexiglass. This removable glass over a screened door allows more light in (becomes a window) without letting the heat out. Would have missed this sunset without it.

I just bought a 10" tablet computer. It uses Android software and is WIFI connected. As part of the "deal" my AT&T service supplied me a "free" (that means $50 a month) Mobile Hot Spot. All that means is that by adding the fifty bucks a month to my basic cell phone account, my laptop and the new tablet computer can connect me to the internet using cell service. That's basically anytime, anywhere.

I'll keep a watch on it to see how it goes; the 50 bucks is for a certain amount of monthly service. If I go over that amount, it's more in $10 increments. They tell me that I'll probably never go over the base amount unless I'm watching movies on the internet. We'll see.

The nice thing is that I've downloaded a free GPS app, and a fuel price locator. There should be lots of good stuff available if I can just get used to fumbling through their web sites.

Anyway, that was about $300 for a refurbished unit at CompUSA/TigerDirect.

Tom

New JVC radio, installation was difficult as the old Jensen was about an inch shorter. Looks like it was original equipment. Used a Dremell vibrating saw to cut the plywood and plastic, worked great. Not a job for the less adventurous as it requires major surgery to the Discovery dash because the radio back hits a bunch of wood.
