Bought a new brake controller. Teconsheh P2.
Also bought some 10 ga. wire
This RV never had a charge wire or brake wire run to the back plug as previous owner had air for toad.

So...... I guess I'm crawling under the RV to do it.

I'm excited!! (not)

We bought our 2004 Bounder 35R on may 17th and immediately went on the road. Since then we added six new tires (3000.00), two new house batteries (300.00) surge protector 30amp extention cord, 6' ladder, 4 tire covers, propane, water filters, oil changes, over 2500.00 in gasoliņe, wiper blades, and countless other odds and ends with no end in sight. I wouldn't have it any other way...

I understand. I am looking at getting a Progressive Industries SSP30 Smart Surge. It only cost $90 through RV Wholesalers, which I find is much better than the Surge Guard. Once I get it I will post about how it looks and works.

I installed the permanent wired Surge Guard, also a Surge Guard voltage regulator. I almost had a fire in my previous coach caused by low voltage at the campground pedestal.

Just put new steer tires on. Michelin m/s2 for $600. Had a lot of fun trying to find doorknob for 1 1/8" thick bathroom to replace plastic one that broke. Finally just used a standard one and did some modifications to it with a grinder. One of the most usefull things I've added (and cheapest) was a paper towel holder under the cabinets over the dinette. Hate getting in and out of there and I have two young children that are in constant need of wiping up

Stuck a T5 LED under the kitchen cabinet fixture several weeks ago and DW had no clue it went from fluorescent to LED. Then, thanks to ALL Electronics I found an ON-OFF-ON exact fit switch for the fixture. That, a diode, and an additional T5 LED, and I now have Hi-Lo lighting in the kitchen (a tad expensive for a whim project, but...).

The next ballast I blow on a salon overhead T8 fixture will also get an LED upgrade. I'm tired of replacing ballasts at $30+ ea.

Bought a front to back & side to side level and a recessed light to replace the gawd awful dining room looking light that had no business being where it was.

Just wanted to add that I knew that camping world was expensive but I hadn't been there in years... whoa! Their prices are out of control!

That sounds like a great price for 2 Michelin's. That's what I'm paying this week to get 2 Westlake tires for the front. Been running them on our fleet of route trucks and they are performing well.

Six, Michelin XRV tires and a tire pressure/temp monitor. Age, not mileage was the culprit, but I have this terrible image of a blowout and an RV careening onto one side or the other, smashing a two seat sports car carrying 40 school kids, then the whole mess sliding into a gas station causing a giant fire. Then all the news choppers hovering around, showing close-ups of our coach and tires. Cost -- way too much ! Good night's sleep -- priceless.
