Got it installed at the manufacturer in Michigan. Cost was around 4g. However, it malfunctioned in Virginia Beach and we had it repaired there at http://www.recreationrvrebuilders.com/index.html. Big Foot was good on their warranty and the guy did an excellent job repairing it, just took a long time to complete the job. If we had it done again we would go to Recreation RV Rebuilders instead of the manufacturer. We would just take it there at the end of summer. No idea how many pounds it adds, that's the hubby's department. We really like it, glad we added it.
