$250 worth of fuel and still didn't fill it up. Really, two cranking batteries from the Dry Pond Freightliner north of Atlanta. $$$$$$$

{Quote} Camping world has a flexible hose that stays put, like it has wire in it or something. I wonder if anyone has tried that, or thinks they are a good idea? I kind of like the idea, but can't really decide if it is that much of a benefit or not.
I just recently bought a "Rhino Hose System" and I am very pleased with it. I even bought a 10' extention, beacuse on occasion, I have a long dump to make, at my son's house. In fact, the first day I used it, he stepped on it and flattened a section. I just squeezed it back to it's original shape and it is still doing fine, with no leaks.
This week, I bought an automatic battery watering system, for my 4 house batteries, because it's such a PITA to get the caps off and check the acid level. Wow, they are not cheap! You have to buy 2 systems, for 4 batteries, (@ $69 ea.) plus the pump mechanism (another $20). But I am looking forward to installing them and the ease of keeping my batteries in good shape.

I think you have sold me! I really liked the idea of it, and hearing from an actual user who likes it I think I will go with it. I think I will also buy the 10 foot extension as on occasion the way a site is set up, we need a little extra length. Question - is it difficult to add the extension? I can't tell from the pics if the adapters that are already on it might be difficult to take off and add an extender.
Thanks!

We purchased this Polychute sewer system almost a year ago. We have been VERY pleased. Spendy, but we feel it is worth it.

We just purchased a new HD TV for the trailer, moved the smaller one back to the bedroom, had all the connections but no TV, both up and working good.

I like the fact that this one has caps on each end to prevent sewage water from leaking out.
I am not sure if the RhinoFlex had that or not. Rhino's a lot cheaper though.

Rhino Flex comes with caps on both ends and stores in 1/3 of the space the Polychute does.

Thanks for that info! I wasn't sure if it had the caps or not. For me, that is huge because that is the one thing I hate the most about conventional hoses, not having the caps on each end. I store mine in a rubbermaid containter that looks exactly like the one in the Polychute vid, but with no caps, leakage occurs and I hate that.
I am sure the Polychute is really great, but for the price of the RhinoFlex, I think that will have to be the route i take.

I was at Walmart today...not camping. I splurged on two packages of Scott RV toilet paper.

Really nice chairs ... Where did you get them? Are they wall aways? We have thought about the same idea we don't use our couch, not that comfortable .

I don't have room for the Rubbermaid containers, so I store my hoses in plastic trash bags with handles. I replace the bags frequently. I think I would like a system with caps, but if that would involve taking the attachment ends off every time then I wouldn't want to do that.

The caps go on the connectors on the Rhino.
