$2700 in 6 new firestone tires and 1 chinabomb spare after front tire blowout almost put the MoHo in the ditch. Researched this site and learned how to read tire codes. Found out the tires that were on the MoHo were the originals and were 11 yrs old. Called the dealer we bought the MoHo from and gave him an earful. Please everybody, if you don't know about date codes on tires look it up and check yours. My family could have been killed by what appeared to be perfectly good tires that were in fact well past life expectancy.

Steel wool to plug the opening in the wing where the water hoses come into the storage compartment area to prevent critters from getting inside.

If there is a woodworking store near you you can get bronze wool, just like steel wool but it will not rust or splinter off as much.

This afternoon Conway trucking delivered a 500 lb crate.
This contained our Acme “EZE-TOW” Tow Dolly.
Car Tow Dolly -The Lightest and Toughest Tow Dolly For All Car Towing Needs - Acme Car Tow Dolly Company
It is now uncreated and inspected.
Started on the wiring and fenders.
Looks well built and I have read many
positive comments.
I like the new LED lights and disk brakes.
It is rated to tow a vehicle with a curb weight
of up to 4,985 pounds, while the dolly itself is
405 lbs. This should be a good combination
with DW's 2wd CRV.
We will see how this new adventure goes, as
we work on other unrelated issues.

All CR-V's are towable four down, why use a dolly?

Today, a small 800 wt generator for $89.00 at harbor freight. For winter camping during hunting season. Won't need ac. Just recharge batts and run small things.

A friend of mine got one of those and it ran for two very noisy hours. Took it back and got his money back.

The price is right on them. I wonder if a better muffler or two would help.
