On the road, 1800 miles from home.

Right lower side of RV at the door was coming loose. Damage from water leak from previous owner. Was to the point I could almost get my finger in the gap. Door frame down 1/2".

Borrowed an in-laws driveway to do repairs. Took stairs apart. Cleaned out bad wood, Bolted an angle onto the side of the stair well. Bolted an angle onto the floor of the stair well. Jacked the door frame up into place and screwed the angles to the aluminum body framing.

Still needs a little fill-in work and caulking to seal it up. Then rebuild the stairs.

$20 in parts to fix it.

RedneckExpress, I am thrilled that you did this mod. Now it is in my hunny do list for the DH.

Question for you tho. Since the range is 20" and RV range is 17" which is size of interior cooking space what is the size space needed. My range is JM an area a by its self with about 2" in each side. Tight fit for a bigger unit but I'm sure it is doable.

Love the oven mod. Something I have talked about long before buying the coach. Thrilled someone did it.

Thanks

I believe the original range was 22", according to his link.

5/8" 'x 50' garden hose for dumping tanks with the macerator.
Hammer ( forgot mine at home) for general use - never know!

Amazing what you need when you are 1600 miles from home
