Four new house batteries: Trojan L16's. Doubles my Amps over the previous batteries.

Prodigy P3 brake controller.

A 35 gallon grey water tote tank and a 35 gallon water tank for extended boondocking.

And an enclosed trailer, dirt bike and 4-wheeler to go play in the dirt!

So...I've owned the Bounder for three weeks now. Here's what I bought so far...

Replacement lens for front right turn signal
Sewer hose
Fresh water hose
Water filter
That thing you put the sewer hose on
30 amp adapter (to plug in while at the house)
Check valve for water inlet
Oil
Coolant
Windshield washer fluid
New wiper blades
Wheel chocks
Emergency triangles...which I had to use already when I bought:
One very expensive tire on the side of the road
Six more tires
Shroud for forward AC unit
Cap for fridge vent
Marker light lens
19" LED TV
TV mounting bracket
12v adapter for TV
Headphones for the kids
Two new blinds for the bedroom
Fire extinguisher
Indoor/outdoor thermometer
Smoke detector
Porch light fixture
LP/CO detector with solenoid
Black tank cleaning wand
Compressor (will also use at home)
Tire guage
Assorted light bulbs
Broom with dustpan
Good Sam Roadside Assistance
Filters for AC units
Set of kitchen utensils
Set of silverware
Windshield squeegee
Appliqué for the window in the door
Mattress cover (2)
A few other small things I'm forgetting....

Things we had that went into the RV:
Two 12v clip on fans
3 -plug cigaret lighter power unit
2 camping chairs
Plastic bowls and plates
Tool box with a set of tools

This weekend's project list:

New tires get installed
A/C shroud
Fridge cap
CO/LP alarm and solenoid
Porch light
And maybe replace the skanky carpet in the bedroom with Allure.

If we're lucky, there will be some money left over to go on an outing next weekend!

Three weeks? Holy cow! You've been busy!

I just installed a new Thin-Lite LED patio light. Holding in the push button on the bottom of the fixture dims it, if it is too bright for my liking. The button is accessible via the entry door steps.

Well, I started with two new house batteries, and new shocks (4). overhauled the suspension, and wheel bearing and new seals. Had to stop there, I'm running out of money. But the center point mounts were bad and the brackets need to have plates welded on them. But I would not want that coming apart while I am running 60MPH down the highway. I guess after 16 years some things have to be done to make it new again, and now it should last at least 10 more years.

Amazon makes it so easy....

And one of the things on my wish list was a Safe-T-Plus. Then I looked under the rig when I picked it up from the storage lot today....and it already has one! Now I need to look a little closer and see if the CHF was done already.

Rebuilt engine for the Magna. $29,000 with Cummins picking up only $10,000 of it. Got the drive the MH 2,600 miles from delivery to blow up. And I thought fuel and depreciation would be the high cost items!
