I wouldn't trust my iPhone 6 to provide an accurate, repeatable level. Too much stiction in the accelerometers from what my tests show. Then again, maybe it's just my unit.

Didn't you hear about the new phone app where you drop your phone into the holding tank (attached to a line, of course) to get a true measurement of your holding tank's content level?

I figured there would be those opposed to the digital age. But seriously I'll put my free, always handy, very accurate, lighted, ez level app against anyone's bubble in water. I did try the black water tank app; I thought it stunk. Maybe I'll get a selfie stick and film the interior of the tank.

I have a gizmo that hooks to my laptop via USB and I can inspect the inside of the holding tanks at will. The nice thing is the probe is about 4' long and I can control it remotely so the smell don't get to yuh.

My leveling jacks have little lights that go off when level is achieved.

Today, at the Automobile Club of Southern California...

I purchased a couple of campground directories by Woodall's that they had for sale. Since the price was a very reasonable $5.95 each, I bought two different directories. One was for the Far West and the other was for the Frontier West, Great Plains and Mountain States.

The Auto Club has ceased to put out their own campground books and now sell directories and guides by Frommer's, Lonely Planet, Woodall's and others instead. They still put out their TourBooks and I picked up several of them, including Colorado & Utah, Northern California, Southern California and Arizona & New Mexico. The TourBooks are still free.

Along with the books, I also picked up some maps of Northern, Southern and Central California Public Lands Campgrounds and California's Gold Guide Map (featuring the late Huell Howser). The maps, too, were free.

You only replace the whole valve if you are planning on dumping the tanks.

So far I've replaced about 35 halogen lights and have at least another 30 to go. Man there are a lot of lights in the rig! Most of them are the puck lights and I have to remove the reflectors on them, then glue the base in since the reflector holds it in place.
40 more LED's on order, should be in next week.

Not strictly for the RV, but it's where it is needed the most often. A KarmaGo Hotspot. The important part is, non-expiring gigs. For the best sales pitch, see the site.

A new clock. Our coach did not come with an analogue clock. Got a nice brushed SST one from Amazon. Oh yea and finally got the California license plates for it. Yippee.
