I have to replace a CO detector in our Discovery, and the company that makes the one that came with our RV went out of business, so I'm starting fresh.

I decided that I'm going to cut a hole in the wall and purchase a flush-mount CO detector as an improvement of the factory surface mount. But doing so means I need to be confident that I won't harm anything behind the wall where I want to mount it, so I purchased this neat little tool:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00

It's a USB snake inspection camera that plugs into a laptop computer. You may have seen similar devices sold in Home Depot or other tool shops that come with their own 1-2" screen? This one has NO screen--requires a laptop. But at only $20, I figure I can't go wrong!

Oh yea... it's supposed to be waterproof too, and I'll be turning 50 soon... Never mind.. Not going there with it!! LOL

Glad to hear you're not "going there" with it.

The Cool Freeze Portable refrigerator/freezer arrived today. It's about the size of a normal ice chest cooler and runs on 12 V or 110. We plugged it in as soon as we unpacked it; it cooled down from 96 degrees inside to 27 degrees in about 40 minutes.

Plenty deep enough for wine bottles...

Supposed to hold 68 12-oz cans. Even has a light inside for those dark nights searching for a cold one.

Fits right next to the lawn chair too! (I'll bet!)

I think we are going to really get a lot of use from it, Larry. We almost always drag around an ice chest when we're on the road...gotta have plenty of beverages.
