I agree, its always worth asking. But, from what I've read, the world has changed since the company was sold. I don't think the new owners have the same customer driven, customer friendly attitude that the original, founding owner did. I guess time will tell. But I already see differences just reading the current warranty statement. I think its ludicrous that they will only ship replacement warranty parts to an RV service facility for their hardwired units. I understand a lot of the exclusions mentioned - they are just trying to CTA.

It will be interesting going forward to read postings from those who have warranty dealings and service experiences with the new company.

Hey Cooperhawk, curious why you want to monitor the compartments and which ones.
Thanks!

Not sure why Cooperhawk wants monitors in his compartments, but I have monitors in my fresh water compartment, my black/gray water compartment, my furnace return vent, on the dash and outside under the front cap.

I have a recording unit so I can see min and max temps. I needed these monitors for peace of mind. I do not winterize my rig. I hate the taste of antifreeze and it takes all season to get the taste out. I leave the rig ready to travel with the furnace set to 45 degrees when I am not using it.

Over the past few years I have been in multiple nights of single digit temps and the compartments only dropped to 34 degrees. I guess my furnace works well enough. Which is a good thing as I am on the road currently and the overnight temp yesterday was 23 degrees.

Called them yesterday. I told them what level voltages (50 Vac) I was getting at the output legs of the suppressor, with the RV power cable disconnected; While the input levels were 124 Vac. The tech said policy / liability doesn't allow them to do live trouble-shooting with the end user. So I am filling out the warranty claim today..

Bogart TM-2030-RV meter and installed it, pulling the wiring to inside the coach was very challenging. Mounted it above the Thermostat in the hall. Will be dry camping next week. Hopefully it will tell us how many amps we pulled out of the batteries and then put back in with the Genny.

I have had one for 6 years and wouldn't, couldn’t live on solar for 7 months each year without it.

Jealous much? Haha you spend that money every year for a new one. I have used atlases enough in my life to know that a 2017 truckers atlas is perfectly acceptable for a RVer. My concern was low bridges and weight restricted roads and other info not likely to change in the months between the 2017 and 2018 published dates or years from now because newer roads are less likely to have those issues.
