For my RV.

Holy crap was it a bitch to install. Most headunits are easily removed by rods or a piece of metal, but the old one was secured by a metal strap FROM THE BACK. So I had to pretty much dismantle the dash to remove the damn thing.

And, to top it all off, they don't make the wiring harness/adaptor for the motorhome, so I had to resort to splicing the wires from the headunit to the old wiring harness with heat shrink.

All I have to do now is find a good metal spot for the ground, replace the dash and assorted gauges, and I....am....done.

Peacekeeper6,

You will love the Sony when you're done with the install. Remote works great from our dinette, and the mp3 thumb drive is too cool. No more tapes or CD's to trip over.

I just finished installing Pergo flooring, hardwired my TRC SurgeGuard, installed new 12 Volt water pump, and just got my Progressive Dynamics 9260 with charge wizard to replace my outdated 7345 Magnejunk converter.
Seems like I always have something to do.
