Passport America, Streets & Trips, Woodalls, and friends. We like National and States Parks. Have the Golden Age and Texas SP Pass.

We use Google Places (also on our Android) as well as RV Park Reviews. Oh yeah, also have Passport America on our Android phone.

Happy trails.
p.s., it used to be that all one had to do was put in RV Park, and it would populate the map. Now, mobile home parks have somehow gotten into the picture and may pop up. That is what I meant by weeding out the "undesireables." Also, if you don't find on in an area that you are looking at, type in "Campground, or RV Resort" as an alternative (without the quotes), and even "State Park, or National Park," and the map should be re-populated with your choices.

It is not all-inclusive, but it gives a good idea of what is in the area. It also works for restaurants and other items.

The internet has become a mess for searching for things. It used to be that you could search on a word and get just the information on that word. Now, all kinds of things that the search engine "Thinks you want" pop up.

Good luck.

We also vote for RVparkreviews.com. We have found it to be pretty much right on. We also use Trailer Life & Woodalls books, but most of the time rely on the RV Park Reviews.

When we went looking at the 2011 TL directory on DVD, we found it needed a faster processor and more RAM han the netbook we carry in the MH. Based on a post by someone on an other newsgroup, we found that the majority of the functionality of the DVD version is on line at www.trailerlifedirectory.com.

Of course, you need wi-fi access to use it. I'm looking at upgrading the RAM in the netbook. I can probably live with the slower processing speed.

How many times have you gone to a website for an RV park you chose for your next stop, and said to yourself "Darn thats a great looking park?
Only to get there and find the picture was taken on the opening day 20 years ago.
We ran across a number of parks that had fallen apart from age and were really in sad shape, but what can you do after driving all day?
Should be a law against old pictures being displayed.

I like to read user reviews when available. I always leave a review good or bad.

I've been to a few, not many where I am sure the picture was taken some where else, no way this place ever looked that good

If you have a smart phone, the Allstays Camp & RV App is well worth the $4.99 cost. I also use AAA Camping books and my GPS. It is rather interesting that often neither includes any of the same campgrounds.

RVParkReviews is also very useful if you have an internet connection...

+1 for the Allstays Camp & RV App for iPad/iPhone. It's basically the google map with every campground, rest area, supply store, truck stop, walmart ect. marked on it. You can click on any of those and get further information, phone number, campground and services details plus a link to the campgrounds website. Makes things so much easier.
