I think before long all cell phone will be smart phones. I get unlimited access to the internet for $30 month and can tether to my laptop. Always available. The Allstays is great has all the campgrounds, Wal-Marts, gas stations, and everything you need. It interacts with GPS and Maps and if you want to know how far from your present position, just ask it and it will tell you 49.2 miles, the turns you need, which side of the road it is and how long it will take to get there. Passport America is similar. You can also get to RV Park Reviews from it. Places (Google Earth) is also very good. We stopped buying the books anymore. My wife who is very non technical has become a smart phone wiz and does the navigation. It is so much better than the books, she would never go back.
