Now that I know from responses on what extra propane to use, my wife has another question. What type of outside stove does everyone use for cooking. We have a Weber grill and of course our stove in the Class A. Do not always want to use the inside stove for obvious reasons. Has worked for the short trips but we will soon be gone 5 months at a time. I have seen the Camp Chef single burner video. Is this any good,,,thanks Sue and Ernie

I do all the cooking and normally cook outside. I keep a Weber Q grill, a two burner Coleman propane stove and a one burner white gas stove in the trailer. The white gas stove, I use to perk coffee on when we are dry camping but also use it with my wok.

We have a one-burner propane "stove" but seldom use it no. In the campgrounds we use a two burner GE electric hotplate. We don't like heating up the RV or the smells from cooking in such a confined space. We also have a small BBQ grill we use often.

I'm prone to do the cooking when we cook outside. I carry two portable two burner stoves. My primary is the old fashion, dark green, liquid fuel Coleman stove and a newer Coleman propane stove as a back up. When I'm doing our traditional "big breakfast" I also fire up either the charcoal or Weber gas grill to keep food warm until every thing is done. As we do not carry portable propane tanks, I have been using the extend a stay fitting and now the exterior gas port when opting to use the propane stove and or grill.
