Quality control...I am driving down the roads in KY (less than 5K miles on coach) and the motorized sun screen on the driver's side falls down while I am driving...wife holds the screen until I can get to the next exit and unplug the wires and fix it myself when I get home. Checking something under the stove and see that it was not assembled properly...fixed it myself....w/d threw the belt off the first time we used it....looked and the belt had not placed on correctly...fixed it myself...had a Monaco guy check out the coach in Tucson and he pointed out some things that should have been done at the plant and were not....I got the parts and he fixed them....hit a bump and the engine sometimes dies...took it to Wakurusa IN....they "fixed" it and it lasted almost 50 miles before we hit a bump and it died again...wires under the transmission buttons were loose...fixed them myself.....I think that is enough whining so you all get the picture.

I think a lot of us in this forum type grew up with the same work ethic. Our son (40 something) has to spend half of his time as an owner of an irrigation construction business trying to explain how to screw in nuts and bolts and why not everyone gets a paid holiday off when the work has to be done on time and correctly. Just another peeve in my world. kkd

Mine is campgrounds with the parking spots not even close to being level. Despite having taken the time and spent the money to develop the property, they leave the parking spots hugely out of level. Most motorhomes only have about 8 - 10 inches of jack travel left after the pads reach the ground. Over a span of 40 feet, you need have a drop not exceeding this amount. Really, it should be closer to 3 inches. It the drop is to the rear, you can easily lift wheels off the ground to get level. Of course, this is a no-no. State parks seem to be the worst offenders. I guess they were made for trailers which have a greater fore & aft ability to level (just by raising the tongue).

Mine is RV storage places that have the parking spaces so close together that you can barely open the door to get out after parking.

I can't latch the rear entry door open with the window over the sink open even just a bit. Not a huge deal but one day the door will swing all the way open and smash the window. Then it will be a huge deal.
