We don't have a rig yet, but we do have a name! Easy Goer, after a race horse my hubby liked as a kid. Makes a good RV name don't ya think?

The Daudi Haus

The Amish often have a daudi haus for the elders to live in adjacent to the family.

We have kids in Pittsburgh, & in Ironton with small houses. We both work, so we can only get away to visit for a few days at a time. The TT is a mobile version of a Daudi Haus.

Our motorhome is named Strider or more formally Aragorn. After the character in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Strider was a ranger who wandered up and down the lands of middle earth, and as we wander around this great country, we thought it was a great name for our conveyance.

We call our motorhome The Bus. It fits since we usually travel with 5 to 7 people.

Wow...some creative names out there!!! some are too funny

When we got our 2011 Allegro, DH wanted to give it an Alaska oriented name because we enjoyed our trips there. We tried "denali" "sitka", etc, but it just didn't seem to fit. Eveeryone offered names, but mostly feminine ones, and I just couldn't see giving a big ole brown RV a girls name...one day I called him "Jethro" and that seemed to work, so Jethro he is!

Now we've bought a toad...should we name her "Ellie May" ?

Our Four Winds 28z is named Filmore, from the Cars movie. We "respect the classics, man".

Motorhome name

Ours is called The Little House. Ask either of our dogs if the want to go in the little house and they go nuts. They each have their travel spot too.

Well if you have a diesel unit you could change the name and have two reasons for the name......... Passing gas.

Sorry, strange morning, not enough caffeine.

In SR/JR High School, (early 1970s) our shop teacher would, in order to get a students attention, often affectionately bellow, "Hey now Big Sid." This fall I am about to start my 34th and final year as a shop teacher. Over the years I have tagged many students with their own school shop "nick names."

Perhaps this new rig will have to be the more feminine spelling of......... "Big Syd."
