» CEO of Gibson Guitars’ Main Competitor is a Huge Democrat Donor Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

Maybe Gibson should move production to India and the USA can lose another thousand or so jobs.

Are the bureaucrats in the USA out of control.

Another government department of BS with a regulation written by an appointee with an agenda. I read this story the other day and it sickens me to think that a persons personal property could be confiscated by a government employee (also a product of affirmative action) with little or no knowledge of what they are looking at and you have absolutely NO recourse in getting your property back. What have we become people?

Many Americans have become complacent and dependent upon govt. If we don't wake up in 2012 we are in serious trouble as a nation.

I've said it before and I"ll say it again: money rules; unless you have an awful lot of it;

I might get chastised for this statement; but me; I just go with the tide.

We are dismantling the USA one piece at a time. It won't be long until there is nothing left. All that we fought for is in vain. It's such a shame but most people only care about themselves and as long as it isn't "ME" they don't care... Let them take my neighbor it's ok as long as it isn't me... What they don't know is next it will be you... God help us...

You can add the NLRB trying to shut down a new Boeing plant in South Carolina. We see US jobs created and then the government tries to eliminate those same jobs. This just doesn't make sense in any way shape or form.

I think that if the Justice Department was after "enemies" or competitors of Democrat supporters, the Koch brothers and several other corporations(people) would be in trouble. Paranoia seems to be creeping into everything nowdays. It's not the first time that an industry has been stopped from using illegal materials in their products and I hope it's not the last time.

in before the lockdown....

This is a classic example of why big businesses will outsource to foreign countries and lay off americans. The sad thing is that it is liberal america that is killing america

My HR consultant just informed me that we need to put up a poster that informs my two non-owner employees that they have the right to form a union and I can be fined for not putting up this poster. This is a new ruling from the National Labor Relations Board. Somehow I'm beginning to think the NLRB actually stands for Nutty Looney Rotten Bureaucrats!

No matter what side of the political fence you may be on, stories like this make it obvious why businessmen go elsewhere to build factories and hire workers. A US manufacturer lost a day of production as well as confiscated materials and work-in-progress over some obscure regulation - and maybe not even a US regulation at that! What will be on Gibson's mind the next time they have to make an investment decision that affects jobs and taxable properties?

no illegal materials were used the materials used were deemed possibly not meeting india's harvesting rules but no US law was broken and personally i really dont care about india.s or un laws (read; if this can happen then the un can deem 2nd amendment as illegal)
