I have my two cars and home with Farmers here in Texas. As I am still shopping for MH I asked for a quote on a Fleetwood cost of $80000 full coverage and was quoted $1250 per year. Sounds high to me.

Franktr, that is a bit high. However, on MH there are so many variables. Yes, you MUST shop around. I previously owned a FW coach in the price range your were quoted with agreed upon value, comp. collision, etc. it ran $800.00 and change. Since the new FW I had to change every year for the last three. This year I dropped from full coverage to $245K AGV with 500 comp. collision @ $1450.00. Just hope this helps in comparison. I've found National Interstate the most competitive. At least for the past two years. Just shop!

GEICO quoted me $1200 for two cars and the MH full coverage with roadside assistance. The coverage is too low but that beats everyone else

Yes I checked with GEICO. There value is not an agreed upon coverage. Your subject to their evaluation and depreciation. Once our coach reaches a certain value GEICO most likely would be very competitive.

We had them for one year. Same old story $800 increase every due date. They were bought out two years ago and the rest is history.

Replacement value insurance

We got replacement value insurance from Safeco when we bought our motorhome. August 25, 2015 we were nvolved in an accident. After they finally agreed to total the unit, they did not look at the price of the replacements but used the amount we paid for it as the replacement cost. It was only 6 months old and has gone up n price about $6000. Accident was not our fault and we are losing out big time. I don't think cost replacement value us worth anything.

We use Geico full timer insurance. We got hit by a hail storm that did more damage then we paid for the coach. They didn't total it and had us a check in 2 days so we could repair it. Awesome company

Aggravating in your situation, and we feel your pain, but if your policy was the standard ACV policy you would have only received about 60%-70% of your purchase price since depreciation would have cut well into your value. Sounds like you did really well with your claim amount outcome, especially considering you had used your unit for 6 months already.
also, I don't understand how your unit could have 'gone up' by 6k(?) - do you mean the exact same unit now costs 6k more than when you purchased yours?

Because of the age of the coach (2001), replacement value coverage was not an option. I have well above minimum coverage through USAA. (They farm out RV insurance coverage to Progressive).

Under insured?

My agent went through Progressive and is only $244 a year. It's fully covered because of the loan and with GAP coverage. It also has limited towing and up to $2000 for repairs.
What i really want is some sort of roadside assistance insurance. Whats good out there?

Thanks
