My first trip is to a dog show in Albany, OR. The Pom people are already talking about it and there will be a get-together dinner at the rig of one of the professional handlers. We are an easily pleased bunch, just mention dog show/RV parking and we will come up with a party!

We will do some weekend trips around home in BC. Then our two main holiday trips will be down into Oregon and back up the coast and hopefully in the fall we will be able to hit Lake Havasu area.
A little off topic for this forum PNWgirl but I see you have Poms. Do you know of any breeders or links to breeders of American Eskimo's? Some that I have found on the net seem to breed both types of dogs but maybe you have some other contacts and/or advice.

Heading South this week That is if we can get ahead of the big storm due to hit us on Tuesday

If not I'll do a short day or two ski trip close by and head out when the roads clear. Cabin Fever has set in !

We a re planning a trip to Williamsburg and then to Charleston about the third week in march. We are gathering information on campgrounds, must see items, and activities. Planning is almost half the fun.

billyburg is great! we have lived here since '81, and love it. raised two kids here. they dont know how good they have it.

hope to go to skyline drive in the spring as our first rv trip. just a weekend, but should be better than trying to squeeze a trip into one day to avoid hotels.

west

If I can ever get medical clearance we want to head west to try and catch up with some friends who will probably be around San Diego. Just had Kidney Stones removed and have a stint in place for at least 2 weeks. Also trying to have ablation (heart) to stop A-Fib and get a portable oxygen concentrator. With all this it will only be a matter of how long I can my doc to to agree to let me go between appointments.

Already had my first trip of the year camping at Lockhart SP last weekend. Froze the first night but otherwise the weather was good.

First long trip is going to be going to GA to take my niece and her friend camping at Unicoi SP there. That will be in April.

We're probably going to go for another storm watching session out Ucluelet way on Vancouver Island.

Then a tour of the whole of Vancouver Island from the middle to the bottom then to the top and back and then off to someplace new in the summer time. Hope to do Scottsdale Arizona in October.

The Island trips will be with friends of ours who also do the camping thing the Arizona trip just to play trains.

Havasu is beautiful this time of year. Going through there tomorrow on our way to Laughlin NV. There's some great deals on camping near some of the casino's. We're going to the KOA campground next to the Avi casino. Probably will stay there about a month.

You know if you won't mind I would love to see a few photos of the KOA and just general photos of the area. Have a great trip!

I went out to walk the dog about 5:30 tonight and snapped a few pics. It was about 64 degree's outside.

The picture with the paved road in the foreground is for free dry camping. It's directly across the street from the RV park. They call it dry parking, but many RV'ers pop their slides out and stay a few days.

The pic of the green and white Gulfstream shows me in my favorite space. It's an end spot with no neighbors to the rear, left or front of us. Just wide open desert views. The casino has a great buffet with high quality food. Space comes with pool spa access, riverfront beach access, cable, showtime, HBO and free wifi.
