I also use Allied. Coach is owned by my LLC. I have "agreed value", meaning the value will not depreciate in the case of total loss. I pay about 0.09% of this value in annual premiums. I have checked several other suppliers, but no one could come close the this premium with the agreed value. I did find lower premiums with Progressive and others, but with current "market value". I also carry a separate umbrella policy with another company in case things really get weird. I guess I should say that I have never had a claim, so I guess I am paying for others misfortunes. I am OK with that.

Winnebago is now a broker for Allied RV insurance in IA. I used to have Good Sam, Winnebago is $400 less per year for identical coverage on our MH.

Whoops! That would be a great deal! I paid about 0.9% of stated value annually.

Joe,

Went with National Interstate via our agent in NJ. This is our second year with National. No increase year over year, we like that part so far and the coverage is excellent. Miller Insurance offers National as well.

Hope this helps

Am I the only one here using Blue Sky? Am I doing something wrong? They are A LOT less expensive than any other I checked.

I changed to Blue Sky last year and had tremendous savings with much better coverage. I am up for renewal now and the rate DID go up but I think it is still reasonable enough not for me to have to spend hours shopping around. I'll save that for next year assuming they try to bump me up again.

I am also with Blue Sky and my rates jumped $250.00,I'm up for renewal Nov 1 so I'm shoping,So far Good Sams has it at the best price for the same coverage,
I don't think you should have an increase when you never had a claim.

We've had Allstate on cars since 1971, homes since 1979 and on our Class A for the 4 years we owned it. A good feature of their RV insurance is that, if it's parked off the road during the off-season, you can suspend the on-road coverage. Another advantage is that the rates are based on your driving record, not your credit rating.

We've had good service from them and the prices are competitive (maybe because we've been with them for such a long time?). We have a very good local agent, which can be a big help.
