Where to buy sewer and water hose, power cord etc.

Just bought a new trailer and need basically everything. Water pressure restrictor, 30 amp cord, sewer hose for starters.

We have all the usual box stores around but the closest RV store other than dealers is about 2 hours away for Camping world.

Any online favorites? Not sure if Lowes or Walmart carry these things or not. Any suggestions appreciated.

Shop local...

Check your local Ace or other hardware store. They generally carry what you need or can get it for you. Keep your money in your community.

IMHO follows.

Unfortunately, most hardware stores won't have the products you need.
If you can describe it... they probably won't recognize what you're talking about.

That leaves you locally with Walmart, which typically has some trailer supplies.
Or online shop... Amazon carries it all. If it doesn't exist on Amazon...it doesn't exist.
Even if you don't buy there you can get a good feel for what's available and pricing.

Or maybe you can find a local trailer 'store'... or make a trip to Camping Woorlld.

As stated above, ^^^^^^^^^ Ace Hardware's will have what you need, so will Wal-Mart's super centers! They both have RV sections, also, if they don't have a drinking water hose, ( the white ones ) in the RV section, look in the garden section for them! Had to do this once!
The RV section in the Wal-Mart's is next to the Auto section!
Also, most "Farm stores" have a RV section too! Rail!

The dealership where you bought the trailer should have had all of that.

Another vote for Amazon and Walmart. I just bought a new hose at Walmart. I needed a new surge protector; it came from Amazon.

Wal-Mart has a good selection of most RV items, all the items you mentioned. Amazon if you don't need to touch the item before deciding.

Our super Wallyworld has everything the OP mentioned. One thing though, i have never been real happy with the brand water hose that i bought from them. Can't remember the brand name but will say it was cheap and always smelled and tasted "hosey", even though it was considered drinking water safe.

I'm cheap so i ended up using it for years but i finally decided to try another brand hose. Just this year bought the Valtera brand hose off Amazon. It had good reviews and so far, has worked better for us.

One other thing, and i haven't ever tried to verify this, is that i've seen posts from others saying that the cheapy inline water regulators from box stores don't do a good job of maintaining pressure. I've always used these and have never had an issue but it might be something to check into.

Congratulations on getting the new trailer,,, have fun!

This is what I would recommend for the pressure regulator!

I would get this hose for freshwater.

This is my recommendation for a general purpose hose. You can sometimes catch it on SnagShout for a 50% discount!

Good luck, happy trails. and God bless! Enjoy the new rig!

Many of us non-newbies buy little from Camping World for various reasons, but if I were just starting out I would go there just for the opportunity to see everything that one could want/need for your first camping experience in your new rv.
You may find later that Wal-Mart or Amazon has what you want at a lower price, but if you don't know what you don't know then lower prices aren't the most important thing.
