Where to find "0000" steel wool?

I watched a video on YouTube by RV Geeks that showed cleaning a windshield with 0000 steel wool, then applying Rainex. Where can I find the 0000 steel wool?

Try a machinist supply shop. I buy fine stuff for doing various 'brightening' jobs when working with metal. Some DIY places carry it in the paint section.

I bought a package at Lowes after seeing the utube video. It helps clean the windshield. I have also used a power buffer and fine polishing compound on glasses that have water marks that wont come off.

Steel wool leaves a lot of residue that rusts so I suggest hosing off the entire area after use.

A rust-free alternative is to use bronze wool available at marine supply store.

Thanks again fellows! I'll go by Lowes and pick up a pack. My wife's car (our toad) has some kind of film on the windshield that I haven't been able to get off. I hope this will do it!
