Where to find Costco GC batteries?
When I do a search at Costco.com, there is no mention of golf cart batteries or really anything other than packs of Duracells. I have read here and other places about GC batteries from Costco and SAMs club and would like to give them a try. I am a Costco member so that is where I would prefer to get them so what gives? Did Costco quit selling them or are they just hidden from view?
Your suggestions for finding them are appreciated!

Ask at your local Costco tire center. They may be in the back room or may be special order.

I would bet a Sacramento COSTO has them in stock in the Tire Center. Our local SoCal store has them in stock all the time.

It seems to be a regional thing. I see them in every Costco I go into out here in the rural areas, but my cousin in Riverside, CA. can't find them anywhere. Strange!

Costco does not list any automotive type batteris in their on-line catalog.
You need to check with the customer service desk or with the auto desk.

Just called the tire dept of the Roseville Ca store and was told they carry the interstate GC batteries. I'll go check them out asap. Thanks for your help!

I made a visit to the local Costco this afternoon. Thay have the Interstate GC2 6 volt batteries at $84. Currently my battery box has two house batteries and the chassis battery under the middle entry step. A nice handy place to check levels and make measurements. If I were able to move the chassis battery somewhere else, I think I could squeeze 4 of these interstate batteries into that box. I'm just not sure where else I can put that chassis battery. I'll continue to check it out but there doesn't seem to be any obvious choice. Anyone have any stories about relocating batteries?

Our Sightseer ( it is a 2012 ) has 2 12 volt house batteries in the steps, which we replaced at Costco.

None of the local Costco's here seem to have them and I asked about ordering them and was told they couldn't. If I change from the 4 8D AGMs to the GC-2 I need 8 and have room for up to 12. I'm just not sure the AGM's are worth over $600 each.

Saw a guy wheel GC batteries out of the Prescott Costco in his little red wagon yesterday. I bought two of them there 18 Mo, ago.

You were very lucky, good to know you were not seriously injured. This is for everyone, for safety anyone working around batteries should always wear safety glasses, safety goggles, or face shield to protect your eyes. Additionally, Interstate does not manufacture their own batteries, U S Batteries use to make them now Johnson Controls. I have never been a fan of Interstate but for the price at Costco I will buy them. I agree Trojan makes good batteries but they cost more then I want to spend right now.
