Question Where to park the rig in December

Hey RV braintrust,

My wife and I will be heading out of the PNW in December, down to AZ, and then across to Key West. Epic winter/Spring.

But in December, when we're somewhere from Las Vegas to AZ, we need to park the 30 foot travel trailer somewhere safe while we run back to Idaho for Christmas. Family calls.

So we're looking for reccos on good yards/lots/RV storage options We'll need last 2 or 3 weeks of December...but I'm happy to pay for a month if that's what they demand.

I figured the collective hive minds around here would have some great, trustworthy, yards they know about.

Thanks in advance.

Some RV parks will let you put it in their storage area. Sometimes it's cheaper than a RV storage facility.

Depending where you'll do this you may have to winterize it unless in southern Arizona.

There is an Escapees campground just off Hwy 93 north of Phoniex in Congress AZ. Not sure what they charge but it will be reasonable. If you are not a member of the Escapees RV Club it is only $40 a year.

I would think it was for lot owners.

found a spot

Thanks all.

Tuscon RV Storage for the Win. 15 days for $35 plus $15 admin fee. If I want to add more days, they have low daily rate.

It's fenced, razor wired, has CCTV. I think my baby will be ok there for a few weeks.

Sounds perfect for you. Glad you returned to give the final plan. Wish more folks would do this. It may help others.
