where to put a new tv

We just bought a (used) 25 foot prowler. The original space for the tv is about a foot diameter above the dinette area, facing the kitchen. You can't put a flat screen there. I looked, thinking to remove the corner top shelf area and it appears to be a one piece with the shelves above the dinette. I really don't want to cut the furniture (I can cut, but can't refinish wood worth a darn) to create a place to lever mount a 24 inch flat screen and tilt it out to the sofa. Anybody have a suggestion

A picture of the area would help all of us visualize and come up with a solution. Maybe one of the existing area and another of the entire viewing area.

Here is a tv solution from a Winnebago, I believe, that might give you some ideas. It's a combination dining table/tv cabinet. There is a TV on a lift inside the cabinet. I am thinking about doing this myself when I have some extra cash.
