Where to stay in SW Florida Jan-Feb

We are trying to plan our 2019 winter trip and hope to avoid undesirable RV parks if possible. Considering Key Largo or Marathon Key for early Jan, Then move to Naples, Fort Myers area. Would like to hear from experience on places most would return to..

We live 6 months at our lot in Pelican Lake. We are 4 miles from Marco Island and 12 miles from Naples. Pelican Lake RV is an exclusive Class A resort with a 35 acre lake. Here is a link to the website:

Pelican Lake Motorcoach RV Resort – Naples, Florida

Lot sizes are typically 85 x 105. Mandated foliage insures that you have a very secluded environment for your stay. If you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

When you price RV spots in the Keys, don't be surprised to see $100/night cost.

Cypress Trail is a nice park in Fort Myers. Mixed A/C/5er. Not a great area of town to the west of the park, to the east is pretty rural. Park itself is very nice.

Further east in LaBelle is River Bend Park. Quite similar to Pelican Lake. Class A only.

We stayed at Fiesta Key Rv park last year and although it has had mixed reviews - we loved it there and would definitely go back again. I understand they sustained some damage from this hurricane this past year but i believe they are now open and fully operational again. Fiesta key is located between Islamorada and Marathon.

Here are a couple of pics, we were lucky enough to land a primo spot!

Good luck, let us know where you land!

We were in Key West a couple of weeks ago and I was surprised by the lack of apparent damage. We were only there for a week at Boyd's but things looked pretty normal. There was a little visible damage around Marathon but it didn't look as bad as I expected.
