Which Quick Connect Fitting

There is a quick connect air compressor fitting in the front compartment of our Winnebago Journey just to the right of the generator. The only problem is that there was no hose present when we purchased the coach.
How can I determine which male quick connect fits this outlet fitting ? Also, when rigging the new hose , is there a size for the fill end I should look for ( ie. are the valve stems the same size as automotive tires ) ?

Harbor freight or most automotive stores sell the fittings in a pack. Not expensive. Just grab a pack and a hose and an Electrical Cord reel to wrap the hose on. Get those at Home Depot. Use some Teflon tape on the threads of the hose to stop leaks. You will need a tire filler device too so don't forget that.

Definitely Harbor Freight will have what you need get a package of quick connects that way you can put one on in a rear also just makes it easier to air drive tires and trailer tires is just too hard to handle this way 1 20' will reach everything sales person should be able to tell you exactly what you need take him outside to see what you need you might consider a shut off valve at each location I had a hose real on my other coach but it took up too much room have fun if I was closer I would come give you a hand

One addition the the previous posts, when you know you have the right male coupler, take a second one and tie it near the Female outlet. If you should ever require a tow truck, the driver will need to access this connection to release the air brakes. By tying a spare, he will be sure to have the proper connection for your rig.

Great idea Dennis although even the thought of a tow sends shivers up my spine.40 years and over 1 million miles on the road only one tow thanks to the trucking Gods

As usual , I didn't ask the right question I believe male quick connects come in different shapes ( at least they did when I rigged a filling hose for my little DeWalt compressor ). When I rigged the hose for the family cars , I had male fittings to go by. This is not the case with the Winnebago. I just wondered if there is a way I can tell which shape male connector I should get. Also wondered where to get the "filler" end and if it would be the same size used on dual wheel pickup trucks. ( is the valve stem the same size on RV tires as it is on pickup truck tires? ) Harbor Freight is a great suggestion, I just want to be sure I purchase the right thing there

There are 2 different designs for quick connects, Automotive and Manufacturing, you will need automotive.

Thanks . Will get automotive. Didn't know if there were more than two shapes. I know it should have been a no brainer but wanted to be sure.

Not as bad as you might think. The monster beautiful mega bucks tow truck arrived, assured me there would be no problems, took about an hour to carefully connect to my home and then disconnected the drive shaft. To move the RV to get to all of the drive line bolts he had a wireless remote. A couple of bumps moved the rv a bit. Was I nervous. Of course. He had tail lights that were battery operated and wireless.

Getting this monster into traffic had me with white knuckles in our toad driving behind. First time seeing our home going down the road from the rear. The driver was not a beginner.

Connecting his air to our our air system was a no brainer. If he does not have the right equipment, fire him.

Good point, but for want of a 2 bit fitting, it could save a lot of hassle getting another tow truck. IMHO,,,,,

There are, as I remember, three different ones, one of which is supposed to be a universal one. But I can't tell them apart either without comparing them to one I brought!
The air filler is the same on almost all OTR vehicles although the do make a larger one for use on HD trucks. I use the same fitting on our cars and the MH, there isn't any difference in size.
