Who has experience with Happy Camper tank treatment & thicker TP?

I use a macerator pump for all my dumps, and I usually am able to do it (black tank) at home, nice and cleanly, love that thing. I am trying Happy Camper holding tank treatment for the first time and I see that it says on the label that it can handle most household tissue. Anyone had any experience on this? If it means that I have to let the black tank "marinate" for a few days it would not bother me if I was able to use anything but one ply!!!

We use the Charmin Ultra Soft toilet tissue with the Happy Camper and have never had a problem!

Didn't have a macerator toilet on the old Dutchstar but used HC for years with virtually every brand of TP.
Will be using it on the new Unity with a macerator.

I use HC and a macerator when boondocking. If you have a large enough hose no tp is a problem. I however have a barrel with a 3/4” ball valve & a 3/4” hose. The thicker papers grind into a “fuzz” that will clog up the valve or hose so we tend to use a lighter paper when boondocking.

THAT is the kind of stuff that helps, thanks! Yup, we are not hook up folks and only boondock, which is why i only dump at home since our trips so far dont exceed our ability to NOT fill the black tank. Amazing how long you can go (no pun intended) if you are very conservative. We will be coming back for a few hundred miles in very high temps and I have to wonder if that and the agitation wont be enough to help break down more than one ply. WE HATE ONE PLY!

We have never used 1-ply tissue! The Charmin Ultra-Soft 2-ply works great for us, but we don't use a macerator.

Higher Temps is one of the things that separates HC from the rest of the pack.

Where can you buy Happy Camper? I went to two RV dealers and Camping World and none of them carried it. I am full time and have trouble ordering on line because I travel from location to location so that is a difficult option.

I'm sure if you contact them through this site they will fix you up.

I bought mine from Walmart on line and had it shipped to my home. I could have had it shipped to a Walmart store if I had wanted to. I paid on line with a credit card.
If you knew what town you were going to be in in a week or so you could have the HC shipped to that store for you to pick up if they have a Walmart in that town. Or, pick a Walmart location you will be at in a week or so.

I purchase Happy Camper from Amazon and use the Costco 2 ply with zero problems. I also use a $75 water powered macerated and a 3/4” hose. Also have had no issues with this setup either. With two adults we can go two weeks before dumping.

The reason I bought from Walmart other than they had the lowest price was I have overnighted a couple times in Walmart parking lots. Yes, I did shop at the stores I parked at for a few items we were getting short on.
Treat me right and I will treat you right.
