I now wave because of this thread. No, I don't feel it is an obligation type thing. It is mostly a smile on ones face type thing. For every 5 that don't wave my wife and I all but high five when the sixth one does.

My problem is I notice drivers are waving as they are passing by......too late to wave then or if I do they don't see it!

I just got back from a 5000 mile trip I had one Class A wave to me ,that I know about.
I say that because most times I can't see the driver . I think because of tinted windows
and the position of the driver seat .

Wave and usually get a wave back. Use my icc's all the time and always get acknowledged by truckers. Courtesy is contagious.
