Who waves

The more miles that I put on, (in an A Class motorhome) the more I think that Not Many people wave at each other.
As a generally friendly person I wave at most RVer's that I see if I'm not preoccupied.
So Who Waves and Who Doesn't.........Now Be Honest!!

I'm with you. Having ridden motorcycles for many years, it just seemed a natural thing to do, but I also find that few wave back.

This question has been posted before and many have replied that they are too focused on driving to get distracted by looking for and waving to other RVs.

I've taken to using my trucker's switches (ICC?) to either flash my running lights or headlights instead of waving. Still no response... but it gives me something to do.

I do...never had a return wave. When I had a Corvette, we always waved to each other. I have a HD now, and motorcyclists generally wave. I think RV drivers just can't see each other. I won't speculate as to why

We wave at other RV's but rarely get a return wave. Must be an outdated action! We'll continue to wave.

Wave

I wave all the time, unless in heavy traffic. Some return the wave & some do not.

I often wave, when I think about it. But, for me, it is hard to see into the shadows of oncoming Class As. Perhaps the same is true for those coming towards us. Occasionally we see others wave - in return, or maybe they started it.

I do want to give a shout out to a couple of drivers in CA this past June. After involuntarily slowing up traffic on a narrow, curvy highway, DH was able to pull off. The first two cars that went past our coach honked, what I understood to be a thank you.

Who else remembers honking at others just to be friendly? (And I don't mean our dear rural friends that continue to wave.)

I usually wave at other RVs unless preoccupied such as watching a movie. (Just kidding)

Being a long time boater, over the years, waving at every single boat going by honestly got old... Riding a motorcycle, since its every now and then, I wave to other bikers or give the nod... In the motorhome, sometimes yes and sometimes no... Really depends on the situation and how the day is going... If somebody waves first, I try to wave back if I catch it in time.

... or more realistically, playing with the GPS, the VMSPc, the TPMS, the iPOD, or, or, or......

We do have a lot of toys to keep our attention.

Wave only on two lane roads, where I can see the driver.
