Wholesale Trailer Purchase

My husband and I fell in "like" with a Forest River TT ... minimal internet searches have unearthed a whole world of RV wholesalers in the East Coast/Midwest. Wondering if such a thing exists on the West Coast. The unit we like is manufactured in Oregon... seems silly to ship back east, just to ship back west to where we live in Washington.

Background, we just sold our nearly mint condition 20' TT that was 12 years old and are on the hunt for something a little larger with a slide and bunks but not too large. Found what we wanted but hoping for a little better deal than what we were quoted at the local dealership.

Welcome to the forum!
Good luck on your search. You should be able to find what you are looking for on the left coast. It just be that the east coast dealers have a much higher internet presence due to more competition form other dealers.

I can second this suggestion...either Outdoors RV, Arctic Fox, or Nash. All are made by Northwoods RV in La Grande, Or. Some well respected RV dealers in the PNW for you.

I love the following that these brands have, but they only have a bunk model in the Nash and it's longer than we want in a trailer. With 2 kids traveling with us, a bunk model is a must.

Understood. Outside the Northwoods Mfg, I like the Heartland products. The Heartland 2375BH is a shorter Bunk House. They make these in 2 different factories, Indiana and Idaho. The Idaho ones have *ID* on the front of the model number, I have heard that the Idaho made trailers have less insulation. I would definitely double check that if you go down that path. But the Heartland trailers are really decent, my parents own a 2018.

Nobody is "wholesaling" RVs - some are just doing a bigger/louder job of advertising their alleged discounts. I'm confident you can get just as good a price on the left coast, and save some in delivery costs vs a dealer further away.

Get quotes on the make & model you like and challenge nearby dealers to match it. Some won't even try, but if you hunt around somebody probably will match it or come close. Be sure you are comparing "out the door" prices, though. A lot of the stores advertising low prices have enough add-on fees and service charges to make a substantial difference.
