Why are these Foretravels the same price?

Was looking at these two Foretravels, both are 139K.

One is a 2003 with low miles and the other is 2007.

I like either one but I think Id buy the newer one...right?

The 2003 has 2 slides. For some of us, myself included, the more slides, the better.

The 2003 also is a limited emission controls engine which is more desireable than one with all the troublesome added parts, sensors, and DEF on the later models.

I like the look of the 2007 better, how much would of these cost new?

We have had both non slide and slide bedrooms and got on well with both.

Totally different models, IE trim levels.
The 2007 appears to be all electeic. Meaning remote or dry camping is likely out. The toilet looks like a residental instead of an RV version. The 2007 has a really large couch and a really really tiny kitchen. It all depends, do you want a party coach or a nice living coach?

Apples and Pears (rather than oranges).

The 2007 will not have DEF, but will likely have an EGR system and a DPF, depending on the year it was built. However, it is an ISL, 400 hp engine. The 2003 is without any emissions system and is an ISM, 450 hp engine. That difference alone would sway me to the 2003.

I would make the decision based on criteria other than model year. IMO, newer is not necessarily better. Decide based on your personal likes on layout and features. Both are well built coaches from a quality manufacturer.

The newer one is a Nimbus.. Lower model without all the bells and whistles..

The U320 is better with more amenities and not all the smog stuff and a better motor to boot.. others but that will get you started.

Several little differences, like an Allison 4000 vs 3000, 8K vs 10K gen.

This isnt your typical RV and NADA value isnt even close to Value on any of these models.

2003 is worth every bit of $139k but you would have to understand Foretravels to justify that or to understand.

Not many out their and their quality is off the charts.

Don't trust NADA to even get original MSRP right

Actually the 03's 40 foot 2 slide tag listed for $493000. A single slide coach with smaller engine and transmission and lesser features would not be worth, to me anyway, more.
