I just tried to use that website. My security software gave me an attempted cross-script warning, so I backed out. I did look up a local mobile service, which is closed on weekends, not much good for a weekend breakdown. It's one review was 2007.

Just for the heck of it, I looked at the few local RV dealers listed as well as the seller of ours. The reviews are so old as to be irrelevant in today's fast changing world. I do agree with a couple reviews as far as work done for me or folks I know. To me those are more subjective reviews (vs objective) as we don't really know all of the surrounding circumstances. Also too few, and too old in most cases to be useful, plus maybe too biased for some reason, something like many Amazon's reviews.

The idea of this service review site is a great idea, but many more have to participate.

Yes, many more need to participate to make it meaningful, which is why I started this dialogue.

Remember also, one or two reviews do not really create a substantial picture. And you're right about biased reviews, especially when they are negative. But trends are worth considering. If we have a service facility that has a lot of negative reviews (or positive) then you can take that more in consideration.

Often these kind of sites contain more negative than positive simply because people who feel they were treated honestly and fairly often don't bother to make reports on these kind of sites.
