Why are you not using rvservicereviews.com

RVServiceReviews.com seems to me to be a great idea.

Service can be bad at various locations, so why not use the power of information to help?

Yea, I know the discussion about what a minority of folks use this forum, and even that website, but if there is a facility that provides good service, wouldn't you want to know about it.

So what's the deal? Is it political? Uninformed? Lazy? We're not supposed to like the folks that run the website?

Winepress, your tag line is great !

to the op...

Like any public wiki...
anybody can put anything and until you KNOW the standards of the poster, it's of limited value to me...

just like rvparkreviews stopped at a park some rated well and it was a dump !

+1 I've done one review for outstanding service and it occurred to me that I should do a write up for MorRyde as I had excellent service from them.

I use both and have found both (Park reviews and Service reviews) to be very accurate.

Forgot to add: I think that (fortunately) people visit more parks than use service and that is why we don't hear about it very often. Too bad they can't advertise more but post like this can only help to get the word out there.

TexasTom,

Thanks for the link. I live in MI and have been looking for a RV service company close to home and one was listed. I have E-mailed them and will see what happens and if we go with them.

Thank you again, Lynne

Same for us. We've posted on both.

I just posted a review on that web page. I have noticed that a lot of the postings are pretty old. I'm not sure how to get the word out, but I have told others about it, along with rvparkreviews. I will say when it comes to the campgrounds I take it all with a grain of salt. Some are pretty demanding in what they expect, others not so much.

I use it and tell folks about it as well. Not sure why there isn't more activity.

This might not go over well, but to me it has very limited value. As has been mentioned very few recent reviews and very few reviews at that. In my state almost every single dealership has 1 or 2 reviews. Not exactly a great reference point to make a decision on the actual quality or lack there of.

Las time I looked, I think Lazy Days had around 30 or so reviews over many many years. Anyone that knows of Lazy Days knows that is propably their daily output of serviced units, if not more.

I think the site has/had great potential and I posted a review on there around 2 years ago. It appears to me at least that Facebook, Yelp, etc are generating more recent reviews.
