Any more questions jminyard?

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Probably my number one reason as well

I don't have my name and address out there
but I like to know what people are driving or
pulling.

Because there is no one on this forum that I like well enough to reveal my true identity.

OK, now it's your turn. Go ahead and tell me how stupid I am. I promise not to come looking for you!
Joe,
You aren't the only one who doesn't hide their identity.

I have not heard of it happening on any forum I belong to. But have read stories from sites like Facebook, where people fully disclose their identity then post their vacation plans. When they got back home their house was cleaned out.

I leave my identity to state only. City and state would only require a phone book search to determine home address. Not willing to make it that easy for them.

Is this you or a relation? Now suppose it is and you post on this or some other public site that your are taking a trip in your RV. Since not all folks who browse the web are honest, the less you let them know the better...

As others have stated, it's mostly to reduce the chance of indentity theft. The chances of picking up a stalker, although very slight, is still a real possibility, especially for a single woman.

The internet is a public place. I don't walk around Walmart or drive down the street with a big sign that says my name or where I live either.

When I got broken into, it was pretty obvious that I was gone. At the time, I had a 33' 5er and with it and my truck missing, it was a dead give-a-way that so was I.

Now, when my MH and 20' enclosed are gone, same thing. I have since activated my alarm system with a warbler horn in the attic.
