A/C units are over-rated...
I actually have a sticker showing my height (and weight) in both english and metric units posted on the dash - nothing worse than facing a "3.5 m" height sign in Canada and trying to do a math conversion while rolling!!! ST

Just makes me wonder what these people are thinking about when they see the bridge up ahead. I always take double looks to make sure things are going to fit and it does not take a genius to look at something and think it looks a bit low.  Scary that people are so clueless on the road.

13'4" and I have never hit anything while traveling...used secondary/back roads during 7 rs of FT travel moving weekly
NOW Campgrounds......they are more treasonous than roadways

12'6" Went around a curve on a 1 lane road leading to a campground in Kentucky and there was a bridge marked 12'. Stopped and and notice people had been going off the pavement where it was more clearance. With wife spotting I edged off and went under with a couple of inches to spare. I mentioned this to the campground host. She said that it is posted on their website not to follow GPS but to follow their direction to avoid that bridge. Yes you can teach an old dog new tricks, I now read and follow the directions if they are posted.

A good lesson in double checking route info. The GPS can be so wrong, and the possible results can be so expensive. Even a GPS that is designed and sold to keep you out of trouble can only use the info in its data. Who guarantees its accuracy?

I LIKE THAT BRIDGE, it serves to take out people who are not paying attention while driving. Thank Goodness they hit the bridge. With their lack of attention they could have killed someone.
