Wi-Fi Signal Booster

In many of the campgrounds we visit, the wi-fi signal / system is weak and it takes a bit to download / send email, or send pictures. I'm considering on buying a remote signal enhancer (I think that is what they are called) that plugs into a wall outlet in our coach to strengthen the signal from the source to my laptop. Any thoughts / ideas on a good unit to buy that would to the job?

Thanks.

Dan

I'd love to find a solution to this. Most campgrounds wifi is horrible and my data from Verizon isn't much better.

There has been several threads on the "$100" wifi booster setup. I have it and it works great for enhancing the signal.
What it will not do is increase bandwidth, if the wifi source is overloaded as most all campgrounds are. You may want to review some of the hotspot options for cellular data. Better but has its own limitations and cost.

We use the C Crane wi-fi booster, and it works great. Stick the antenna outside the coach and it really grabs that weak signal.

But like said above, you get a full signal from the park wi-fi, but then you're only as good as the park wi-fi.

Super WiFi Repeater System > WiFi & Internet > WiFi Antennas | C. Crane
