My wife isn't like that so much but my daughter is. She beats cars to death. When I mention to her that she should maybe take it easy over pot holes her answer is "The car ought to be able to take it". I just shake my head and walk away. Good thing her husband is a licensed mechanic or they would never have running car. I really don't know the solution other than to have a talk with her. Maybe tell her, right before you are to go to something that she really likes, sorry honey I can't go because I have fix the RV's _______ (insert the latest thing she broke here). Good luck it's a tough one, it's tough to get them to change when they're 29 years old.

I don't know how I put up with it(her) for 58 years!
That's my side of the story and I'm stickin' with it.

Subconscious passive/aggressive anger is often expressed in these subtle/not so subtle ways...If I were you I'd tread lightly and see if you can find out what the real problem is...perhaps a new Class A?

Tell her to fix the next one herself then run. (be sure you take the keys with you)

I've broken the door springs on our dish washer and wall mounted microwave. I have a bad habit of rough handling doors. My wife, to her credit, has never snipped at me for doing so, even after the last repair bill to microwave was kinda pricey. I'm trying to not do that in RV but it is a lifelong habit.

At least she didn’t total two RVs at the Tiffin campground in Red Bay like I say in another post.
