Are you kidding me!

Wife and I moved to northeast Tn to get away from the wind, snow and cold in Wyoming. Before we left we sold all our snow removal tools. After checking the weather in Wyoming, it's warmer there this winter than here. Today it's 29 with freexing rain and snow. Are you kidding me!

We were supposed to get 4-8" today. It's probably at nearly that now with at least a couple more hours looking to be heavy still.

So over this.

You think you have it bad? I am looking at 4 ft of snow in my yard and piles that reach the roof of my house.

It is going down to 3F tonight. Yesterday it was a high of 44F-first time above 32F since Jan. and even then it was only 4 times in Jan it got to 32F. Sugar Maple season should have started back in Feb. but it has been too cold. Still has not started yet.

Well, I drove home from work... 45 miles... last night in snow and ice, 35 mph most of the way, in 4X4 high. Took me an hour and a half to get home, dodging the nut jobs doing 50+ and sliding into ditches and guard rails. I stopped and pulled a neighbor out of a bad spot about 1/2 mile from home. Now I have a new friend...

I was kicking myself all the way home for not moving to Phoenix when I was younger. I can take the heat. I've been there when it was 115 degrees and didn't mind that so bad. I was there for a week in late February... it was SOOOO nice... Too late, we now have grand children in this area, so... no possible way could I get Grammy to move...

We were enjoying the temps in Florida, but had to come back to central North Carolina just in time to get 6" of snow. Next week looks to be better, in the 60's.

We were going to start our cross country trip this week from Virginia Beach to San Diego. I think I will wait a few weeks and let the weather settle out. I don't like the idea of giving the MH in ice, snow, etc

Sounds like we've all had our ups & downs this season .... we're in AZ and the temps have been from the 40s to the 70s ... our dilemma is that our rule has been ... "if we can have the top down, we're outta here" ... but this year ... where the heck can ya go ....
Planning on head towards Colorado at the end of the month ... hoping to make it to Denver on dry ground in a week or so ...... but it is Colorado ... a definite maybe !!
