WOW No more checking air pressure! Now what will we do with the air compressor? How do you adjust the ride?

Michelin introduced the tweel (integral Tire + WhEEL) concept back in 2005. They haven't come to market yet because of a number of, ummmm, challenges. Aside from those mentioned in THIS ARTICLE, imbalance should mud, stones, etc. become lodged in the spokes has been a challenge for military and off-road applications.

Snow can pack in the open areas causing problems, too.

That wouldn't be good for the tire companies...No dry rot...no need to buy new tires every 7 years or so....

It would not be good for the competitors of tire company that made them. If we could get 10 years life; that would be nice.
