Windshield rock cracks....a new record?

My wife and I were driving our motor home in the Idaho Falls area. We got three rocks thrown at the windshield by trucks. Is that a new record in a three hour time period? The windshield cracks are BIG...bigger than a quarter.

Not a contest I'd like to win but it sounds like you're gonna be tough to beat

In the same area last year and a rock from a truck cracked the w/s of my NEW motor home ..Had to get it replaced.......Seems like the rocks in that area are aimed directly at motor homes..!!

Know your feeling. Bought new to us Fleetwood and on way home from dealership, hit an owl busting the driver side mirrors which scratched the paint. Next week cracked windshield @9 inches going to campground and when leveled the crack went straight to bottom of windshield.

Safelite told me they could fix any crack that you could cover with a dollar bill.

I agree that they can fix a crack. Fix to the point it won't crack further. I have had 3 spots fixed and I bought a kit at Auto Zone and fixed one my self. But I could always see where they were patched.
